CD Duplication Services

Aum Studio provides quick and easy CD duplication services for all short run needs (300 quantity or less). In addition to making duplicates, we also offer CD printing* which is a process that uses a specialized inkjet printer to print a b&w or full-color image on the surface of the CD. This is a great option to give your short run duplications a professional look.

Duplication vs Replication

You may have heard of both duplication and replication, but still unsure as to what the differences between the two are. The duplication process uses CDR recorders to "burn" data into a pre-manufactured writable CD. This method is most cost-effective when the client only needs a limited amount (300 or less).

The replication process "stamps" your data into an injection molded CD. These discs are like the audio discs you buy at the music store and have a silver look to them. The silver look is because of the aluminum that is used to reflect the laser that is used when you play your CD. Minimum orders on this process start at 1,000 copies due to cost-effectiveness.

Do you also offer CD Replication?

While we don't offer CD Replication in-house, we have worked hand-in-hand with large-scale independant printers such as DiscMakers and OasisCD. Our Design department can prepare your artwork for these large-scale printers if you do wish to produce over 1,000 copies.
